Rock for Haiti Fundraising event at Altitude 360 rocked!

Hosted by Lindsay Lohan, the rock for Haiti event in association with the red cross was hosted in the glamorous Millbank tower overlooking the embankment and with its own cinema screen and media centre it was the perfect choice to coincide a live screening for the 30th anniversary of the Brit Awards before the fundraising event took place.

Celebrities turned up on the red carpet from 7pm, an all suit and tie affair appearances came from mainly Z listers and most notably Big Brothers Lady Sovereign and Katia Ivanova. It was a great audience and there was plenty of the crowd parting with cash to give to the rock for Haiti fund. By 9.30pm the audience were ushered to the main room where the auction bidding was taking place and HummerHummers West end DJ Richie Silver mixing up the music in the interim.

The most notable items auctioned off was a Lily Allen painting reaching £2,500 and all flights and accommodation paid trip to go on a date with Lindsay Lohan herself reaching up to £7,500. The winner was a random late 20’s female although there have been reports the winning bidder was not happy to pay for the prize after Lindsay left the event before it had finished taking her entourage to a west end club to continue to party.
