Being the second capital city, Birmingham is not shy of featuring some of the most inspiring shopping centres and attractions built around the festive season.  The infamous Frankfurt Xmas market is celebrating its 10^th anniversary this season, starting with just 24 stalls it has now grown to over 180 featuring crafts, local foods, fair rides and of course the mandatory German beer and mulled wines.

The Birmingham Christmas lights switch on took place on 13^th November, from High St to Brindley Place, lead by Santa and his Sleigh.

 Birminghams biggest shopping Centre, the Bullring has lots going on this Xmas, in and around the shopping centre and within its stores.Many of you will have seen the photos around the centre which make up the centres Christmas decorations and if you haven’t then you can come along to Bullring and see if you can spot your photo in one of the guilt gold frames hanging from the atriums and by the Customer Service Desk.

As Summer time is in full swing the UK music scene braces itself for music festival season with over 100 music festivals covering Dance and electronic music, pop, Rock and Indie with an ever increasing supply of mini cross genre festivals taking place within the London region.

What a month for Global sports fans…Wimbledon Tennis, FIFA World Cup and just a few days to go for the Formula 1 World Championship at Silverstone, England, UK from Friday 9th - 11th July.

The competition is on with both British drivers Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton hoping for that home turf victory in order to wow the loyal UK fans.  The Silverstone track has a revised circuit alomg with a whole host of of track entertainment through the three days such as bungee jumping, air displays from the famous red arrows and VIP helicopter pleasure flights.  HummerHummer have limousines available for transporting silverstone ticket holders from London, Berkshire, Surrey, Middlesex and all major UK airports direct to the race.  If you quote: ’silverstone 2010′ over the phone or through the limousine service website you are eligible to a free in-car buffet.

In five years HummerHummer has seen its fair share of Hummer vehicles, blinged up wheels, outdoor promo campaigns and Birthday celebrations, Saturday 26th June was its own turn to celebrate a landmark Birthday.

Rewind five years and HummerHummer launched in the swanky Arcadian area of Birmingham, Sobar followed by Max Power Live event @ NEC on the following day.  Back then the new start up company had just one standard size Hummer H2, one of the first Hummer vehicles for hire in the UK.  Five years on and the event showed all the hallmark signs of the companies innovative thinking and progression within the limousine industry.  With three Stretch Hummer limousines reserved for the anniversary party, its guest list were welcomed to a complimentary London cruise whilst the in-car DJ mixed up a storm inside the 30 foot Hummer.

The event took place at the award winning JuJu Lounge, London owned by former Leeds footballer Lee Chapman and wife Leslie Ash on Saturday 26^th June.  Paris Hiltons official UK DJ Fenton Gee was drafted in to play back to back the in-car DJs.  The party was strict RSVP and was a way to say thank you to all of the people who have helped grow the brand to where it is today…the UK’s biggest Hummer limousine service.  Most notably, Pixie Lott made an appearance after coming from watching Stevie Wonder at the Hard Rock calling in Hyde park.

Private hire and limousine hire enthusiasts will be congregating for the UK’s biggest public and private hire trade show taking place at Ricoh Arena, Coventry London on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd of June.

There will be over 50 exhibitors featuring several UK based limousine sales companies with 8 seating capacity and 16 seating capacity vehicles on showcase.  Sponsored by Swindon Insurance, they will be doing their yearly Mystery Tipper competition whereby they will be handing out £1000 to two lucky cabbies each day of the exhibition. The Hummer brand has always created mass urban appeal, looking back from when the Hummer H2 first came into production in the US in 2003 it instantly became the must have vehicle to have in a celebrities posession taking less than two years to infiltrate the world wide export market and create a cult audience in which it still serves today.

It is reported in 2007, Paris had ordered a hybrid converted Hummer H2, it is good to see celebrities taking an important stance on the environment.  There are also options to convert Hummer vehicles onto LPG.  The conversion kits are much more robust now and create less issues with the engine system compared to older models.

As world welterweight boxing champion Manny Pacquiao likes to make an entrance when it comes to his multi million pound boxing shows, he likes to create the same stage presence when it comes to running for a seat in the Phillipine congress.  Hundreds of cheering fans awaited on the open air basketball courts in San Miguel as he emerged from a big bad black Hummer vehicle as he waves in a blue vest bearing the name of his political party, the People’s Champ Movement.

Blasting out the sounds of “Eye of the Tiger” from “Rocky III” Manny as he entered the stage in the Hummer, one of the world’s best pound-for-pound boxer and one of the wealthiest men in his impoverished homeland, Manny  is now trying to translate his enormous appeal into votes in the May 10 election.

He commented “I don’t want to be just your boxing idol,” he told the crowd from a makeshift stage on the back of a truck. “I also want be your idol in public service.”

Many believe if Manny Pacquiao wins a seat it will be the end of the possibility for the fight every boxing fan has been waiting for against Floyd Mayweather Junior,  for now Manny has mentioned he will wait until after the election to comment on the status of the proposed bout.

There are many limousines out on the roads here in the UK, some older stretch vehicles have been around for over twenty years and so it always pays for you to view your intended limousine in person before booking your occasion.

Hummer limo hire has been the predominant fashion in limousines over the last five years and many countries of the World have adopted a stretch Hummer within this time period.  It is very important to ensure the Hummer vehicles are well maintained, not only mechanically but also visually inside and out.  With the average limousine company taking around 250 different clients per year a Hummer limo can start to look tired within the space of two years.  Within quite periods it is for the operator to go over the vehicles ensuring any blemishes on paint work or issues with upholstery are rectified and maintained.  There are some fantastic car cleaning products out there now which help to keep the vehicles clean and smelling nice.

Limousines have become an essential accessory to the school prom calender coming close to a young bachelor or bachelorettes outfit.  On this note it is quite surprising then that so many schools book their prom on the same date of the year as many others causing a shortage of limousines and novelty vehicles.
